Seller's description

Gorgeous black structured shoulder bag with chunky antique gold chain hardware and a classic turn lock closure. Such an easy elevated everyday bag. Minimal, polished, and goes with everything. Less than a year old and in excellent pre-owned condition with very minimal to no signs of wear. Clean interior with zippered pocket. Structured silhouette with a detachable gold tone chain that can be worn on the shoulder. Brand is unknown, don’t see a visible brand label, so I’m listing it based on the style rather than attributing it to a designer. ✦ Black smooth finish exterior ✦ Antique/brushed gold tone chain ✦ Turn lock flap closure ✦ Interior zip pocket ✦ Structured rectangular silhouette ✦ Excellent condition Measurements: 10inch × 5.5inch × 3.5inch Strap drop: 18inch #shoulderbag #blackbag #chainbag #90sstyle #minimalistbag

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: structured leather- or faux-leather-looking shoulder-bag silhouette with a flap and turn-lock closure.
  • photo 3: interior includes a zippered pocket and gold-tone hardware.
  • photo 1-2: structured rectangular leather flap shoulder bag with center turnlock closure, a silhouette broadly shared with vintage and modern Coach flap bags
  • photo 3: interior zip pocket under flap, consistent with many flap bags including Coach
  • photo 1-3: clean edge finishing and even stitching, black colorway common for Coach
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: chunky decorative gold-tone chain is not characteristic of the solid-brass strap construction used on classic vintage Coach bags.
  • photo 1: turn-lock hardware appears small, bright, and highly polished rather than the wider, understated vintage Coach geometry.
  • photo 3: fully fabric- or synthetic-lined interior and multiple structured compartments do not match the typical unlined suede-back construction of many classic vintage Coach styles.
  • photos 1-3: no legible Coach wordmark, horse-and-carriage mark, hangtag, creed patch, or serial/style number is visible.
  • photo 1: smooth, highly uniform exterior and modern chain design are more consistent with a contemporary unbranded fashion bag.
  • photo 1-3: no COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, creed patch or hangtag visible
  • photo 1-2: chunky bright antique/gold-tone chain shoulder strap with large lobster-type clips, not vintage Coach solid-brass dogleash clips, leather buckle-adjust strap or bead-chain hangtag
  • photo 1-2: bright plated gold-tone turnlock, not dull solid-brass vintage turnlock geometry
  • photo 3: lined interior with top zip pocket, not unlined suede-back glove-tanned classic interior
  • photo 1-3: smooth uniform coated modern leather finish, no glove-tanned grain, patina, scars or wrinkles
MISSING INFORMATION
  • A straight-on photo of the interior back wall and every interior pocket for a creed or fabric brand tag.
  • Close-up photographs of the turn-lock, chain attachments, zipper pull, and any hardware markings.
  • Photos of the bottom, corners, side gussets, strap attachment points, and full interior emptied.
  • A close-up of any label or stamp hidden inside the bag.
  • photo of interior back wall / slip pocket for creed patch straight-on in raking light (photo 3 shows interior but no creed visible)
  • photo of any fabric tag in pocket seams and 'Made in' line
  • photo of turnlock back plate, chain clasps and zipper pull stamps
  • photos of back, sides, bottom corners and strap attachment points
  • photo of hangtag both faces if present
  • seller-stated dimensions already given; hand/ruler for scale and confirmation of leather vs synthetic
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ The visible construction has no Coach identifier and is inconsistent with the classic vintage Coach leather-and-brass construction described in the reference.
  • ⚠ The decorative chain and bright gold-tone turn-lock suggest a contemporary Coach-style lookalike rather than a documented Coach model.
