Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: Clearly a handbag with a shoulder/crossbody strap and top zipper.
  • photo 2: Exterior shows glossy burgundy vertically pieced exotic-looking leather consistent with the seller's eel-skin description.
  • photo 6: Interior is visible and appears suede-like, with a small fabric label, but no Coach identifier is legible.
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: No visible COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, or Coach hangtag.
  • photo 1: Glossy vertically paneled eel-skin construction is unlike classic Coach glove-tanned cowhide.
  • photo 4: Top zipper and hardware are visible, but there is no recognizable vintage Coach turnlock construction.
  • photo 6: Interior lacks a visible sewn Coach creed patch; the small label is too small to read.
  • listing text: Seller explicitly describes the item as made in Korea and eel skin; this is seller-stated information and is not evidence of Coach manufacture.
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 6: Close-up, straight-on image of the small interior fabric label to identify its maker and country line.
  • photo 4: Close-up of zipper pulls and all hardware markings.
  • photo 6: Full interior view showing the reported lining tear and any additional labels or stamps.
  • Seller-stated exact material and maker information, if available from the label.
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ photo 1: The exotic glossy leather, vertical paneling, and gold-tone hardware do not match the usual construction of vintage Coach glove-tanned classics.
  • ⚠ photo 6: No Coach creed, serial/style number, or wordmark is visible; this is consistent with a non-Coach bag rather than an identifiable Coach model.
  • ⚠ listing text: Korea origin would be inconsistent with a purported 1970s–1990s classic Coach bag, although the origin is not independently verified in the photos.

hardware description photo 1 and photo 4: Gold-tone rings, strap clips, and zipper hardware are visible; no readable branding or turnlock is shown.
leather description photo 1, photo 2, and photo 3: Glossy burgundy/wine-red leather with narrow vertical pieced panels, pronounced creasing, and a highly reflective finish; visually consistent with the seller-described eel skin rather than Coach glove-tanned cowhide.
lining description photo 6: Burgundy suede-like lining with an interior zip pocket; a tear or hole is visible near the lower interior.
strap construction photo 1 and photo 5: Narrow matching burgundy shoulder/crossbody strap attached with metal clips; one loose thread is visible near the strap area in photo 5.
stitching description photo 1 and photo 2: Visible perimeter and panel stitching appears generally even, though details are not sufficiently close for a construction authentication.
