Seller's description

You’ll get both. Small textured vinyl coin purse with kiss lock. Mid century era. Clean and pre-owned. Corner wear on one aside. please see photo. The second is an unusual purse meant to hold only a few small personal items such as a lipstick, and powder compact. It’s in overal poor condition with the exterior showing dirt and peeling. The interior fabric is worn and dirty as well with characteristics of being silk. Small mirror dangles from frame. Has some silvering issues. A true Victorian period piece. Smoke free home. Locks working perfectly. Both purses are structurally useable to their own degrees.

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: Two small framed kiss-lock purses are clearly visible.
  • photo 3: The larger/black-and-red purse has a small dangling mirror and an ornamental metal frame, consistent with an older vanity or cosmetic purse.
  • photo 4: A sewn fabric label appears to read “England,” which supports non-Coach manufacture.
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: Neither purse shows a Coach wordmark, horse-and-carriage, creed patch, or recognizable Coach construction.
  • photo 1: The ornate framed kiss-lock and highly decorative design do not match the documented Coach handbag catalog.
  • photo 2: The smaller red purse appears to have a textured synthetic or coated exterior rather than Coach glove-tanned leather.
  • photo 3: The larger purse has silk-like fabric lining and a mirror, features associated with vintage cosmetic purses rather than Coach bags.
  • photo 6: The larger purse shows substantial peeling, wear, and deterioration.
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 4: The fabric label is only partially legible; a straight-on close-up would confirm the complete wording.
  • photo 1: Exact dimensions and scale are not provided.
  • photo 5: The smaller purse’s interior and any maker mark are not fully documented.
  • photo 6: The underside and frame construction of both purses are not shown in detail.
