Seller's description

Vintage leather shoulder bag made in India with parrot birds and tropical design. It’s a very cool margaritaville vibe design. Perfect for vacation, resort, or just feeling like you’re on vaca 🦜🌴 Interior has one zipper inside pocket, large open area and a full top zipper Interior has some holes in the lining as shown in pictures. Exterior is in really good shape for the age of the bag. The shoulder straps have some wear as shown. Leather conditioner should help revitalize a little.

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • —
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: decorative tropical-bird exterior with painted or appliquéd artwork is not a recognizable Coach construction or signature pattern
  • photo 3: interior label appears to read 'GENUINE LEATHER / MADE IN INDIA' rather than a Coach creed or wordmark
  • photo 4: black synthetic-looking fabric lining and conventional zipper construction are inconsistent with a classic unlined vintage Coach leather bag
  • photo 2: large zip-top tote silhouette with decorative exterior panels does not match a clearly identifiable Coach catalog model
  • photo 5: interior lining is visibly deteriorated and peeling, consistent with a generic lined leather bag rather than evidence of Coach manufacture
  • photo 1: all-over embossed and hand-painted parrot / tropical leaf pictorial leather - never a Coach treatment
  • photo 3: interior woven fabric tag reads GENUINE LEATHER MADE IN INDIA - not a Coach creed patch, format and country tag inconsistent with vintage Coach
  • photo 4, photo 5: black synthetic fabric lining with holes and flaking - vintage Coach classics are unlined suede, not lined
  • photo 2, photo 6: zip-top shoulder bag with double rolled straps - no turnlock, no solid brass hardware, no glove-tanned unlined construction
  • photo 1-photo 6: no COACH wordmark, no horse-and-carriage, no leather creed patch, no hangtag visible
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 1-6: no clear Coach creed patch, serial/style number, Coach hangtag, or horse-and-carriage mark is shown
  • photo 1-6: bottom, zipper-pull branding, and hardware close-ups are not provided
  • photo 1-6: full strap attachment and stitching details are only partly visible
  • No Coach creed patch observed in any photo - no straight-on creed photo possible
  • No COACH wordmark, hangtag, or branded hardware visible to verify
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ photo 3: the visible India-made label is a generic leather-manufacturing label and does not support Coach attribution
  • ⚠ photo 4-5: synthetic lining and lining failure are inconsistent with the classic vintage Coach construction most likely to be confused with an unbranded bag
