Seller's description

Item is pre-owned. The clasp does its job, but isn't as secure as one would like. A good leather conditioning would make this a real treasure! No staining present. Minor scuffing and wear to the leather edges and strap consistent with vintage age. The metal frame shows a natural patina. Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: clearly a leather handbag with a metal frame, clasp, and shoulder strap.
  • photo 1: substantial brown leather and aged metal frame are compatible with an older handbag, although not specifically with Coach.
  • photo 4: visible floral Art Nouveau-style tooling is decorative but does not identify Coach.
  • photo 1-6: leather handbag with vintage patina consistent with pre-owned leather goods
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: ornate all-over tooled floral decoration and a framed construction do not match the documented classic Coach silhouettes or typical Coach construction.
  • photo 1: no visible COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, creed patch, or hangtag.
  • photo 2: back is plain leather with no visible Coach identifier.
  • photo 5: braided/laced edging around the body and strap is atypical of the classic Coach examples in the reference catalog.
  • photo 1: the clasp is a small frame-bag closure rather than a recognizable Coach turnlock.
  • photo 6: visible construction details suggest a generic or artisan tooled-leather frame bag rather than a Coach-made classic.
  • photo 1: kisslock metal frame closure, not Coach turnlock or Cashin scissor-frame geometry
  • photo 1: all-over tooled/embossed Art Nouveau floral motif, not Coach smooth glove-tanned leather
  • photo 1: whipstitch laced perimeter edges, not Coach construction
  • photo 1-6: no COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, creed patch, or hangtag visible
  • photo 2: plain back with no back slip pocket or catalog silhouette match
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 1-6: interior, lining, and any interior label or maker's mark are not shown.
  • photo 1-6: no close-up of the clasp, frame, strap attachments, or reverse-side hardware markings.
  • photo 1-6: bottom, side gussets, and full strap construction are not documented.
  • Seller-stated dimensions and any provenance would help identify the maker and date.
  • photo 1-6: interior never shown, lining and creed pocket unknown
  • photo 1-6: no creed close-up to verify maker
  • photo 1-6: no hardware brand stamps shown
  • photo 1-6: no bottom and no scale/dimensions
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ photo 1-6: no Coach identifiers are visible, so Coach manufacture cannot be supported.
  • ⚠ photo 1-6: the silhouette and tooled/laced frame construction are more consistent with a non-Coach vintage artisan or generic handbag.
  • ⚠ The seller's description identifies style and materials but does not claim Coach; this is not evidence against Coach, but the photos provide little brand evidence.
